Infento: A modular vehicle that loses the need to buy a ride through the years.

With dozens of different designs, you’ll never have to dump the old ride and buy a new one as your
child grows. The modular design allows you to make your changes with just one hex wrench.
All kits come in a well-organized box. It’s surprising to know you don’t need too many parts to build a bicycle.

As well as a project for the parent and child to create together, Infento is a long-lasting modular design that shapeshifts as your child grows. From a simple sledge to a cool trike complete with cargo box, Infento is child’s ride until the age of 13.

There are three Infento kits, Junior (ages 0-5, 6 different rides), Creator (0-10, 9 rides) and the Master Creator (0-13, 11 rides). Junior kit allows models fit for toddlers, functioning as a walker or a tricycle to carry stuff around. With the Creator kit, you can build more complex vehicles for older kids complete with hand brake and shock absorbers. The Master Creator adds a three-wheeler and a recumbent.

The thing with Infento is its success in building really good-looking, functional rides as the child grows to expect more from its bicycle. You will never have to buy a new bicycle or dump the old done. Moreover since children start to understand the mechanics so naturally and gradually that when they grow up, they are fully capable of doing maintanence, even redesign their rides themselves. Each time you transform a ride, you will have to dismantle all the pieces and build from scratch which, at higher levels, may take up to 6 hours.
The snow add-ons carry the extra parts to build a snow vehicle.

Infento has also two additional (Junior and Big) snow add-ons, with which you can build sleighs, choppers or glides. So your children will have their whole childhood fun in building and riding super cool rides both indoors and outdoors, in sun and snow.
Infento kits are also a fun way to spend quality time with children.

The starting point of Infento goes back to 2010. Co-founder Spencer Rutting is a volunteer for a youth organization and there he came up with the idea to organize a race for kids with rides they’ve helped to build. The kids loved building real stuff and they were really creative with the material that was available. Now what would be possible with truly multi-functional and multi-adjustable parts? But then life size. Infento started with the develo pment of an education kit especially designed for schools, which is now being sold worldwide. The positive feedback from schools, parents and children lead to the decision to develop a product especially designed for the consumer market. After two years of development the new kit is now ready to go to market. Infento consists of a team of 7 people and is located in Amsterdam and Seattle.
